Get Your Zip On

There’s a lot of ways to get out in the woods during your Navarre Beach stay. If you’re looking for a more organized type of activity, try Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center, about 15 miles north of Historic Milton. You can go on canoeing, kayaking and tubing trips, do group hikes, and stay in the cabins and other rustic lodging.

We suggest you get your zip on — by taking a thrill ride on the facility’s Zip Adventures. You’ll soar over a sea of green, as well as rivers, creeks and beaches. If you haven’t ziplined before, you’re locked in tight and guides make sure that all safety measures are observed.

Adventures Unlimited offers three basic packages.

• The Soaring Stream is a series of five ziplines flying over Coldwater Creek.
• A Taste Of Tour — seven ziplines ending with a 900-foot trip over Coldwater Creek.
• Go big or go home with the Ultimate Double Dip Zip Adventure! This includes 12 platforms and an exhilarating sky bridge. You soar over Wolfe Creek and Coldwater Creek. The ziplines run as long as 900 feet. This is typically a five-hour excursion.
