Science by the Sea 2018 Summer Camps – Paddlepalooza

Join us for an awesome week of paddling fun. Campers will enjoy an adventurous week exploring local waters as they surf their way into the Gulf of Mexico, kayak their way through Santa Rosa Sound, and canoe their way down Black Water River. The week includes activities at the Science Station, surfing lessons, a Stand 

6th Annual Autism OdysSea

Every Child Deserves to Experience the Sea! Activities Include: Touch tanks, fish prints, sensory stations, animal rescue relay, sea turtle crafts, character meet & greet, shark myths, remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), fishing, kayaking (age 6 & up), animal encounters. Preregistration required.

Science by the Sea 2018 Summer Camps – Guy Harvey/FWC Fishing Camp

Get reeled into fishing with a five day fishing camp! The Navarre Beach Marine Science Station is the only facility in Northwest Florida selected to partner with the Guy Harvey Foundation and Florida Fish and Wildlife to offer this exciting opportunity. Learn about fish biology and conservation as well as fishing tackle, methods, and techniques. 

Ocean Conservation Mini-Camp

Students learn how they can make a difference and #bethesealution. From the effects of marine debris on marine animals to the importance of seagrasses, participants will investigate habitats by seining and snorkeling. Participants will learn about the invasive lionfish and the entire family is invited to view the Discovery Depot. Monday July 2 and Tuesday, July
