Kayak with a Ranger on Santa Rosa Sound

Over 80 percent of Gulf Islands National Seashore is a marine habitat! Paddle around Santa Rosa Sound on this 90-minute guided program to explore the region’s natural and human history. Kayaks are provided free of charge. Closed-toe shoes and a life vest are required. Limited to the first 10 people.

Note: Kayaks will be provided. Visitors must use park kayaks and equipment and weigh a minimum of 50 pounds, which is the minimum weight our youth life jackets are rated for. For single, sit-inside kayaks, the total participant weight cannot exceed 300 pounds; for tandem, sit-inside kayaks, the total participant weight cannot exceed 500 pounds.
