The Santa Rosa Band of the Lower Muscogee will be hosting their annual Creek Fest presented by Eglin Federal Credit Union.
There will be nationally recognized Native American entertainment by the following artists each day:
• Billy Whitefox, Nominated for Native American Music Award Artist of the Year
• Ed Wind Dancer, Native Rhythms’ Cultural Ambassador
• Jamie and Joe Empert, Native Rhythms Festival Flute Award winner & nominated Best Song Solo Flute
• Lowery Begay, Schemitzun Hoop Dance Champion
• Medicine Tail Drum and Otter Oliver’s Dance Exhibition Team

The festival will also include Pow Wow Drum by Drum of the Red Boys Drum Group, Pow Wow Style Dancing, traditional Creek Stomp Dancing, living Creek Village, guided Tours by traditionally clothed as in the early 1800’s, re-enactment of the Battle of Chumuckla between Creeks and Soldiers, traditional Creek food cooking demonstrations, authentic Hunting Camp, weapons demonstrations, hands-on crafts for the children, traditional and Contemporary Food and Drink, traditional Indian Roasted Corn and Fry Bread, traditional festival food and drinks as well as a plethora of other amazing vendors and activities.
General Admission $5.00 • Kids under 7 FREE. Parking on the grounds is free as well. The festival has sponsorship opportunities as well as opportunities for vendors to register. Tickets will be sold up to the day of as well as on site and sponsorship opportunities as well as vendor registration will close on October 31, 2024. Join us in celebrating our Creek Indian Heritage and Culture. A fun learning experience for the whole family.
